Following a five hour, thirty-five mile drive from Terrell, E.H.R.("Ned") Green brings the first automobile to Dallas. |

Pierce lists himself as a salesman for the John Deere Plow Company. |

A Herring-Curtiss biplane is the first airplane to fly over Dallas in an exhibition at Fair Park. |

Pierce lists himself as an independent agent selling "windmills, pumps and gasoline engines". He specializes in pumps and water systems for farms and rural homes. |

In addition to his office in the John Deere Building, Pierce also lists having a repair shop at 509 Main, across from the courthouse. |

Pierce moves his office and repair shop to 513-515 Main Street at the corner of Main & Jefferson. |

Charles Lindbergh visits Dallas celebrating the City of Dallas' purchase of Love Field as a municipal airport. |

Pierce Pump Company moves to 415 South Industrial for a brief period. Big Tex makes his first appearance at the State Fair of Texas. |

Thomas A. Reece joins the company as first assistant to J.W. Pierce. Business moves to 10751 Harry Hines. |

Thomas A. Reece becomes president and eventually buys controlling interest. |

To keep up with double-digit growth and capacity demands, Pierce relocates to 9010 John Carpenter Freeway in Dallas. |
